Maritime Security Management


Brief


Black Pearl Maritime Security Management came to us as a start up company looking for a new brand identity. Due to the nature of their business, they needed a solution that would communicate across languages, cultures and people - from deck hands to government ministers. Another key success factor was using the brand to leave a lasting impression over great distances.

 

Solution


Although Black Pearl had an idea of how they wanted their logo to look, our designers were able to work with them to bring their visual concept together with it’s functional requirements. The name of the company, Black Pearl, and the typographical elements of the logo drew upon maritime legend and security force to successfully communicate the message of precious cargo protection.  

 

With the brand in place, we looked at the way Black Pearl carried out it’s business and how the brand could be applied with the greatest effect. As many of Black Pearls’ business affairs are conducted remotely it was important that they have corporate stationery, a website and other branded communication while promotional products acted as a great way to leave a physical reminder behind after a rare meeting. To finish the package off, Black Pearl had some premium grade T Shirts embroidered with their logo, chosen for their flexibility and durability.
